Great food for a reasonable price and served with a smile. Fast service and family owned. Best homemade Latino food I could ask for! Wouldn't have it any other way!

We ate dinner there and I have to say it wasn't too bad. Kind of a hole in the wall but the service was outstanding and the food was okay. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend going to this place. It was quite crowded when we went. I have been eating at Dona's for many many years. The quality & the taste has always been good. I suggest trying their chilli rellenos with egg batter. Never had a bad entree here. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Not very far off I-20 if onebis passing through.

Good food. Nice little hidden gem in Midland. The chicken enchiladas weren't my favorite but the cheese ones were great. So what's the chips and salsa. The company I was with enjoyed their meals as well.

Here the food is consistently good. It is always hot and taste great. Some places when they get busy they don't have the plates and food as hot as it should be for the best experience. We have asked for a special appetizer and they make it. We love jalapeño and onions grilled then plated with cheese melted..so delicious. We are not crazy about the queso, but everything else is superb. The service is good and food is fresh. My favorite are the Chili Rellanos. That isn't spelled correctly anyway it's all good.

Good food nice people

Some of the waitresses there lack customer service skills. They think they are doing you a big favor, when it's the patron that's paying for the food and service. They don't appreciate their customers equally and when you mention it to them they don't even have the decency to be apologetic to the customer. This is one place I promise I will never return to. Thankfully there is a whole lot of other good restaurants in Midland where they really appreciate all their customers equally. Totally disgusted!!! 👎😕

A very nice and little but a crowded restaurant. It gives me good memories where I'd call it the "dark restaurant" haha. Again I get enchiladas (which is pretty good) and never ate the other foods. I will update this tho...someday.

My opinion is that it is the best Mexican food in town!

Dona Anita’s is a place of great character that has drawn many generations of family’s over the past 30 years. It is family owned and operated. They have won several first place awards for their food, where it has been consistently good over the past years. The atmosphere is business oriented during the day and family oriented at night. The clientele is respectable, including a past United States President and his family. The Owner Luz Reyes is there for your comfort making sure your visit is memorable. Their Chili Rellenos are top rated homemade and fresh. Overall the attention of the Owner (Luz) to the highest quality food and service is far above most restraints in Midland.

I had a good meal at this restaurant. I am staying at the DoubleTree, which is walking distance from the restaurant. It was about a 15-minute walk and not to scenic, but the food made the walk worth it. Very solid Tex Mex. The atmosphere was simple. Lots of families dining here. Was a good place to have solid food and read my book. I may come back again tonight.

Great staff! Great Food!!Ask for Anjelica.They let me create my own plate! Took a brisket burrito plate and smothered it with queso and green sauce. Very Delicious!!! Go try it and give me a thumbs up if you like it.

The best Chile rellenos ever !!!!

Too pricey for the food you get. First time eating there and was not impressed. Fajitas come out on a regular plate and not very hot. Refried beans, well you can get better out of a can!

Judy at the George W. Bush Boyhood Home in Midland, Texas, suggested this restaurant. The food was the best Mexican cuisine we have ever eaten. Sopapillas to die for. The gentleman who seated us played the piano and suggested the plate we should order. He even comped our desserts. He said Laura Bush likes the enchilada.

Has the best mexican food around. Only draw back is they are only open for lunchfrom 11:00 to 2:00 Monday thru Friday. If you would like them to fix something like roasted potatoes with your meal, they will do it. Their service is top notch. Only have beer and wine also, no hard liquor.
